Dr. John Casteel began his ministry as a missionary in Cuba, where he met his wife Marguerite. John translated and built church plants throughout the area with his father and other missionary families. He and his wife then began planting churches in Latin American for several years. Many of those churches are still thriving today. John continues to visit the churches he launched, as well mentors the beloved men and women who continue the minister to the people of the area. In 1968, John and his wife Marguerite moved from Mexico to Tucson, Arizona, where they raised their family and began the ministry of Grace Chapel.
The Church grew to become a ministry center with a large congregation with over two-thousand attendees. After 39 years of pastoral leadership John now serves at large as an evangelistic speaker and teacher. He is the author of the book entitled, Seeing In The Dark.
His message is profound, filled with life-changing principles, based completely on the Word of God. He ministers with a primary focus on Latin America and Arizona. He is ordained with the International Church of the Foursquare Gospel, and serves Southeast Arizona. He received his Doctor of Divinity degree from Southern California Theological Seminary in 1988. He has four children and nine grandchildren. He and his wife reside in Tucson, Arizona.
